Listening is at the core of every successful communication. People take turns to listen before responding to their communication partners, but not all people are good listeners. I face several challenges while listening. Any external sound diverts my attention from the main conversation context. I often lose listening concentration after less than 30 minutes of the communication context. This initial challenge makes me lose track of main communication points. However, I am using several techniques to become an empathetic, attentive and active listener.
