Tennessee Williams’ play, A streetcar named Desire, centers on Blanche DuBious and the struggles that she has had to go through following a series of misfortunes both in her personal life and career. The author uses two main ideas to deliver the masterpiece, which, to date, is celebrated as one of his best works.
One of the main ideas in the text is the urge to live in a world of fantasy at the expense of reality.
