Reflection on Teaching African American History

One of the aims of ENGL!02 is to demonstrate that writing is a process and that even professiona l writers don't get things 'right ' first time: any finished product that you read is likely to be the result of multiple drafts involving the reworking of text and often the reconsideration of initia l ideas. Against this background , the research reflection is your chance to reflect on all that you have done on this course. You are aiming for a short ( 1-2 page, 300-500 word) paper reflecting on your research and writing process.A starting point could be: if you had to do this all over again, what would you do the same? What would you do differently? Are you satisfied with your final research paper or would you have liked more time to research additional aspects of your topic - or do you wish you had chosen a different topic altogether? What lessons will you carry forward?
