Reflection on the Reading Minority Designers
In the reading, Dr, Mirriam Ahmed talks about the place of minority designers in the design industry. There are several things that stand out from the text. The first key issue is the responsible design movement which was pioneered by Milton Glaser and Ken Garland. However, unlike these designers, minority designers self-motivated and powerful and are playing a critical role in leading sustainable movement. According to study, minority designers practice sustainable design even through they are not exposed to First Things First and are not motivated by organized initiative or big names.
