The road construction near Indian reserve in New Mexico is a project that started to ease transportation. The construction project is funded by the federal government, but most of the staff resides in New Mexico. We have audited the financial accounts and including the cash flow statement and statement of income in the as the 31st may 2013. The management of Quality Engineering has the responsibility of handling the financial statements. The aim of this report is to identify whether the project work reflects a true and fair evaluation of the planning, design and work completed in accordance with generally accepted principles.
The construction of the road surrounding Navajo reserves is going well with only a small section of the road behind schedule. By this time it was projected that approximately two thirds of the project would be complete, but up to now sixty percent of the project is complete. With regards to previous projects in the area, the roads are well maintained, but many of the previous roads and current road seem to have planning problems. One of the reasons for this is that accounting for used funds required a breakdown of the funds in there different periods under construction, and when behind schedule there was a rush to beat the deadline further complicating the planning process.
For future projects to go with minimal delays and inadequate planning it is necessary to first conduct thorough survey on the surrounding area. Surveys of the areas are likely to yield better results on the requirements that project managers need to look into.
