1) How does the author of the article, Dan Brooks, answer the titular question? In other words, what is the common concern that is shared among the movie's most ardent critics? Why are they panicking?

2) What, according to Brooks, is the main difference between this of version the Joker (i.e., Arthur Fleck) and the previous Jokers, such as Christopher Nolan's "Dark Knight," and Jack Nicholson's character in the original Batman films? How does this difference feed into the critics' fears about the film?

3) How does Brooks feel about the critics' arguments against the movie? Does he feel they are right to be worried about the movie, or does he think their fears are overblown? Does he feel they are right to down-rate the movie on the basis of their fears? Explain.

Note that we talked about appeals to fear on Oct 17, and fear (among critics and moviegoers) is a theme in this article; but further discussion of that particular fallacy is not my goal for this assignment.
