The history of video games dates back to the 1950s and the 1960s. During this period, computer scientists started designing simulations and simple games. In 1962, one of the first video games called MIT's Spacewar was designed (Frazia & Deng, 2021). There are a number of great men and women who are noted for being the pioneers of video games. These men invented and founded video games either as individuals or as a company.
