[1] In modern society, females rely a lot on make-up and dress-up. Some of the women look extraordinarily different before makeup and after makeup. As a matter of fact, make-up and dress-up are important for female attraction. Men are certainly more attracted to women dressed up well than women who are untidy. Hairstyle is also included in the dress-up. Women with beautiful hair are charismatic to men. For many years, long hair has been the standard of beauty for women, since it signifies femininity. In traditional Disney Movies, princesses or chief actresses like Snow White and Cinderella all have long hair. There is an idea that men are attracted to women with long hair. However, today, several women have decided to do the short hairstyle. Men believe that women with short hair do not look better and lack health locks. Many of the women who cut their hair losses attractiveness among most men. The truth is that long hair universally looks attractive to men. Accordingly, this paper will support the idea that many men prefer women with long hair to women with short hair, because longhair is the standard of beauty and it represents good personality.

Although some evidence indicates that the hair length does not define a woman's beauty, women who have long hair look beautiful and appear more appealing. According to research, 10% of men hit on women with short hair compared to 90% of men who hit on women with long hair (Thompson, 2009). A woman with a short hair is likely going to stay single for an extended period because men find her unattractive. The most comfortable women are those who know that they are attractive. Therefore, woman's physical appearance matters a lot. Moreover, a woman's appearance is glamourized by the length of her hair (Thompson, 2009). Short hair signifies that a woman wants to be more masculine, deranged and even abrasive. For instance, the most aggressive cashiers, and confrontational colleagues have the same traits of a short hairstyle. On the other hand, long hair may be a symbol of good health and recommends that the bearer might even be healthy. Since hair grows slowly, long hair also reveals years of a bearer's health status. Moreover, during illness, the body utilizes nutrients in non-vital body parts like hair for survival; therefore, long hair is a sign of health. Men prefer having healthy women. Moreover, women face looks more attractive when accompanied by a long hair. Many men remark that they cannot be attracted to a face that looks like that of a man. The idea of women having long hair generates a way that speeds gender appreciation and however maximizing perceived attractiveness. In addition, men love change. Therefore, long hair can be styled in many ways which give the bearer a new look over time, unlike the short hair.

Men love running fingers through the hair as a way of expressing their affection; therefore, men prefer women with long hair to fulfill their desires. Long hair also makes men create healthy relationships because they feel more satisfied than having a woman with short hair around him (Thompson, 2009). Men who are brought up in a society where women have long hairs find these women as superior and more attractive. Long hair is an initial part of the attraction to a man. Various men dream of running their fingers through women's long hair. The surprising thing is that, regardless of how men like women with long hair, they do not like women to put up extensions to achieve the long hair. Some women spend too much time and money to make their hair as a way of attracting the opposite sex. Nevertheless, men prefer the idea of being natural.

Men who were involved in this survey said that they find long hair sexy compared to short hair. They explained that they consider long wavy or curly hair as incredibly attractive (Pincott, 2009). They also said that they like shiny and touchable hair that does not have styling products. However, this research concluded that men prefer women with long hair. Men prefer women with long hair since longer hair assists to cover less desirable features. Long hair makes the jawline appear slimmer and less noticeable therefore drawing concentrations away from indefinite cheekbones.

Men, therefore, seek for young and attractive women to make good mothers and a useful feature is a healthy long hair. According to beauty experts, hair is one of the leading features that make women attractive. Therefore, American men describe women with long blonde hair as their ‘perfect women.' According to research, several American men were ready to pay $59.31 on the first date with a woman with long blonde hair (Pincott, 2009). They were also willing to spend as much on women physical appearance. This reflected that men like women with long hair.

Women with long hair can look more professional compared to women with short hair thus making men more attracted to them. Women are required to be feminine, but also they are expected to be independent (Thompson, 2009).
