In high school, one of the activities that gain unrivaled participation and unwavering enthusiasm to excel is sports. Most of the students will take part in sports and those who do take active roles, cheer their teams and favorite athletes. Of importance is the fact that, as students struggle to excel in sports to clinch the coveted scholarships and fire up their professional careers sports, the rate of injuries has also gone up and have a profound impact. This paper addresses suggested ways of reducing the injuries in an effort to uphold safety for the high school students.
Thesis statement: high school sports injuries should be reduced to ensure safety to the students.

* Epidemiological statistics supporting the discussion on the number injuries in the high school sports and the level of prevalence indicate a staggering number of injuries.
