Critical thinking emerges as a crucial tool in the ever-changing world of social work, helping professionals through the complexities of human experiences and societal concerns. Critical thinking is the deliberate and reflective analysis of information, ideas, and circumstances to create educated judgments. In social work, this cognitive discipline evolves from a talent to a foundational pillar for effective practice (Mike Weyers, 2017; Rogers & Allen, 2019; Tilbury et al., 2010; USC Suzanne Dworak-Peck School of Social Work, 2014). In the context of a social worker’s various responsibilities, excellent communication skills and the capacity to engage in meaningful discussion are especially important.
