Participants speak based on the last few conversations and move to other topics of interest (Burkhalter, n.d.). Usenet Archives comprise millions of posts. In that light, it takes time for a person to search for specific words or phrases. Some posts did not show specific dates when they were posted, while others did. Besides, the search process can be hectic and might take an extended period, particularly when finding a topic with millions of posts.
I searched for a few terms and phrases, such as noodles, stereotypes, race, gender equality, and the effect of technology on young people. Some posts are from long ago and others recent. However, they have no specific order, and one has to open all posts that relate to the search term or phrase.
