When my uncle passed away from cancer, I received an email from my cousin about the bad news. The news was delivered using the inductive approach in communication. The inductive method entails the offering of evidence using anecdotes that allows individuals to arrive at a certain logical conclusion. Through the approach, the main points of the message are reserved until the end of the message. The approach is effective because it allows the recipient to read through the message until the end. It is the basis for capturing the reader’s attention and build up the arguments as one advances through the text.
