Waldren and Burnette Zeigler (2022) explored if an experienced health trainer could help Black females with trauma history by using the M-Body program. Dealing with ladies with trauma histories is essential because this program would help them know how to use the stress lessening technology whenever they are in trauma. According to Mills (2019), mindfulness-based interventions emphasize utilizing anxiety-decreasing lenses throughout the therapies. Therefore, the M-Body program might assist females with trauma histories in controlling how they think and reducing emotions instead of allowing their feelings to influence them.
The questionnaires the scholars used in this study is valid since the information they collected from the Near North Health Services Corporation Clinics about black women with trauma histories was suitable and relevant to the research’s objective. The study used the PTSD Checklist and a likert scale to evaluate exposure to trauma and criterion symptom domain practitioners use in diagnosing post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). These measures were appropriate in this study because trauma, although real, is not measurable. Furthermore, the measures can investigate various trauma-related mental challenges, risks and protective issues. The researcher can also use the instruments to determine severity and frequency scores.
