The cultural artifact of Pharaoh the Egyptian leader
The above cultural artifact is an image of Pharaoh, one of the most powerful leaders in the African history. The image which is made of stone curving, described the physical attire of the leader which included head gear and ornamented neck race which covered the chest. Although the leader used to reign many years ago, its recognition still exists as it holds the African cultural heritage. And as Freud argues, cultural artifacts always have a deeper political, intellectual or artistic meaning for the people and society at large. The unconscious artistic behavior which enables the artists effectively bring out their emotions and feelings to their work guides their career growth. True to the Freudian`s argument, psychology involved the analysis of out of perception and off stage description of image or artwork, which demonstrated the societal theory and their social existence. Majority of the artists uses their wits to demonstrate coherence and deeper meanings on human behavior (Brenner, 2006).
According to Freud, cultural artifact helps us understand how mankind socialized himself, by investigating their actual behaviors on earth. He therefore attained his goal which revealed that there`s freedom in knowledge. Freud argued that cultural artifact has a psychological meaning which explained person`s relation with the universe.
