Background of the subject area
The Crisis Leadership in Higher Education online program will be offered at the Harvard Graduate School of Education and Harvard Kennedy School. It aims at preparing adult learners for and responding to crises more efficiently, developing protocols and practices for minimizing the potential for future occurrences as well as inspiring confidence in the survivability, long-term success, and resilience of their institution.
Justification
The study seeks to critically assess the components and elements of learning in the program, the approaches set in place, and the impact that this will have on learners. The study is important because it critically assesses whether the program has been prepared adequately to influence effective crisis leadership among learners. This will help learners and interested parties to determine whether or not it is worthy their effort and resources to pursue.
Methodology
This will combine both quantitative content analysis and social media analysis. Content will be drawn from the website, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and the website of the Graduate School of Education.
