Question One (Color-Blind Racism)
Racism is a common concept in the United States (US) today, where particular racial groups believe superior to others. Plenty of social changes have aimed to diminish racism, yet it still exists. The prevalent form of racism is known as color-blind racism, where some people believe that racism is not a problem anymore, and all people have similar opportunities that are equal. Color-blind racists refuse to consider other peoples' skin and blindly believe everyone is equal. In the US today, the whites assert that racial consideration and injustices no longer prevail, yet their social behavior shows nothing but structures and practices overflowing with racism. A hypothetical situation where color-blind racism occurs is where white Americans ignore the existing racism and discrimination against the blacks and attempt to justify that the society is in order.

Race/ethnicity and health are interlinked, with the minority group facing more illnesses and death. For Instance, black Americans experience an increased risk of death from certain chronic diseases. Socioeconomic status is important and is linked to race/ethnicity and health. Having a high socioeconomic status does not always predict great outcomes in health and longevity, no matter the race.
