Argumentative Essay I believe that Abortion is Morally and Ethically Wrong

Abortion Name Grade Course: Tutor`s Name: (February 17, 2012) Abortion Abortion still remains one of the most controversial and contentious issues in the world. Many people many have chosen to support abortion, the pro-choice while others have chosen to totally oppose it, the pro-life. However, I am a pro-life activist who strongly opposed abortion. To me, the act of abortion goes against humanity as it denies the unborn child the right to life. Analyzed below is an argumentative essay on why I believe abortion is morally and ethically wrong. In my opinion life begins at conception, and by not letting the unborn child enjoy his or her right to life can be translated as murder. In actual sense abortion not only defies the sanctity of human life, but also goes against the morally accepted, ethical belief of a man. Those in support of it not only deviate from the norms, but also choose to knowingly harm another creature for selfish gain. I strongly believe that people should choose adoption instead of abortion as it accomplishes similar results and restore human sanctity. Personally,I find it difficult to comprehend why people choose to abort their unwanted babies while there are close to 1.5 million families out there who are willing to adopt children in America. However, majority of people who undertake abortion argue that they barely have enough to raise and take care of a baby; adoption could be a better solution to this.
