One day my friend Jenn and I were walking on the streets of New York. Since she was originally from Afghanistan, we were talking how safe it was to live in New York compared to most Middle East countries. Suddenly we heard a shot and all these people were running towards our direction as if something bad was after them. Then we heard a couple of more shots and everywhere people were screaming. As it happened a restaurant was nearby and we ducked in and moved as far back as possible.
