A Day at the Beach
In this essay, I explore one of my days at the beach. It was a hot, hazy day in the month of July, when my friend and I decided to go to the beach. On arrival, clear water was just rolling over the sun-baked sand while the sun was rising up into the crimson sky. It appeared as though it was rising from the sea itself. The beautiful blue sea was hitting the cliffs making an awesome show of splashes. As we got to the sand, we took off our plastic open shoes, and enjoyed a walk on the sun-baked sand. Smooth round seashells were all over the place, and were decorative pieces on different children's sandcastles.
Families started arriving one after the other with children racing towards the sea, as their parents were busy looking for the best spot to set their deck chairs. Ice cream vans were moving around attracting many children and adults. From the way people were dressed, they portrayed their unique personalities.
