It would seem that the world has finally caught up with me. In these recent times, with the added emphasis being placed on evidence based medicine, it would indeed seem that the world has come to realize that health and health care are among the most fascinating and important facets of human life.
As for my part, the health care profession has always been an area of fascination for me, not only as I became exposed to the world in my more latter years of life, but also especially as I was growing up. Basic chemistry and biology laboratories and experiments in my earlier years of education first exposed me to the concept that the manipulation of chemicals and elements can bring about changes to other elements, as well as to living creatures and their organ systems. Always a curious person, I explored the world of chemistry with the zeal of a child being given her first ever toy. With this kind of thinking, I am able to realize that the world is full of promises. In fact, even though I could describe my younger years as rather "nerdy", it was during these formative years that I came to hone my skills for scientific inquiry and critical thinking.
Also, I came to know biology and chemistry even more as I went into high school. The laboratory exercises became more c...
