How can humans benefit from stem cells that are not embryonic?
The non-embryonic cells are also referred to as the adult stem cells. They play an imperative function to the human body by performing a number of tasks. One of the benefits is that, they are unspecialized and therefore can be easily renewed through the cell division after a long period of time and hence aids in the treatment of cancer diseases. In addition the above cells also help in regenerating of the malignant cells and therefore this helps cancer researchers to discover new treatment ways (Holland, 2001).
