Divorce is an action taken legally to end a marriage relationship before the death of one of the spouses. Getting in marriage for the wrong reasons is a reason for divorce. Getting married for money instead leads to frustrations and later divorce. Lack of individual identity where one is unable to express his or her self outside the marriage .One becomes a slave to marriage in such a case. When couples get children, they redirect all their attention to the children forgetting that they need each other. This could lead to boredom and could be a catalyst for divorce.Infedelity by either of the spouses will make a spouse feel undermined and may opt to withdraw from a relationship where faithfulness is unguaranteed .Differences in beliefs and values could cause misunderstanding among married couples.
Communication is an important tool in a marriage and anything that cuts the channel of communication can be detrimental to such a relationship. A spouse will not be in a position to express their feelings without communication. Other factors that can cause divorce include drug and substance abuse, irresponsibility, and lack of support by mentors, and the lack of care, concern, and consideration to couples.
