Introduction
Biodiesel is a type of diesel fuel, and it is taken from animals or plants. It consists of a long chain of fatty acid esters. It is commonly made up of soybean oil, animal fat, or other vegetable oil. The Biodiesel is used as a vehicle fuel to enhance the quality of the air. It is effectual to improve the environment. It enhances the safety benefits along with energy security. Biodiesel is useful because it increases the life of a diesel engine (More et al., 2019). The reason is that it is more lubricating as compared to petroleum diesel fuel. The oxygen enhances combustion and minimizes emissions. There is no sulfur in the Biodiesel. It is beneficial in reducing pollution in the atmosphere as compared to diesel. There is no unique engine required for Biodiesel as it can be run in any regular diesel engine. Petroleum diesel engines are incredibly polluted. They used to emit particulate matter and nitrogen oxides that are harmful to humans.
