The use of multisystemic therapy (MST) as a control and prevention measure for serious juvenile offenders and in reducing recidivism is an ambitious therapeutic approach. The main aim of MST is to reduce the chances of reoffending by keeping the offender within their community while delivering intensive targeted interventions that address their delinquent behaviors.
