Is it harmful/wrongful for the court to be activist in protecting the rights of the oppressed from governmental tyranny? Why? Why not? Support your answer.
In relation to the idea of the separation of powers within the government, I believe that it is harmful to the judiciary to pursue an “activist” approach since it goes outside its primary function, which could then lead to the collapse of the state.
