One of the censorship examples that took place in the US is wardrobe malfunction in the Super Bowl show of 2004Justin Timberlake tore Janet Jackson's costume, thus exposing her nipple to the TV (Bethonie, 2018). Such an act was considered indecency and should not have been aired to the public. Airing such content to the public would send the wrong message to viewers because some of them are young adults. It was believed that the CBS network should have censored the content before airing it to the public because such kind of content is considered to be obscene. It is the type of content that should only be aired to a particular audience and not the public.
Complaints were made to the Federal Communications Board for action to be taken...
