Data breaches occur daily, exposing passwords, email addresses, credit card numbers, and other susceptible data. Approximately 16 billion records have been exposed via data breaches since 2019. Cyber-attacks target the weakest point that is insecure to access organization networks such as wireless webcams, printers, scanners, mobile phones, and laptops. The lack of role-based access control enables an unintentional guest or employee to gain access to sensitive data because there are no policy-based safeguards (Nazir et al., 2021). In this regard, the absence of authorized network risk data compromises. Other reasons include failure to perform security posture checks before guest devices connection and unencrypted network traffic.
