The creation of physical sites or locales is very important in representing or supporting the community. This is because; they depict aesthetic, technical, and social statues and other related issues in the society.
In doing these representations, architectures play very important roles, for instance, Crane (1987) argues that they ensure enlightenment in the community. Due to the fact that in about 18th century, there was a modernization in architecture, which led to the intellectual maturation in the beliefs of human reasoning as the main guiding principle. As a result of reasoning, in architecture, the minds of individuals got enlightened, which led to the new idea of modernized world that opened up as we still see it. Enlightenment in architecture ended up picturing the community as being determined universal morals as well as self-realization intellectually. This is especially experienced in modernized world, where access to reality and knowledge of reality has made the communities better than before.
Another role played by the architecture in representing the community is improving the world in which such communities leave. The conservative modernists were coming up with designs that depicted good moral values. In general, they were picking designs that that were to depict righteous conducts that were to be emulated by good citizens. In history, there have been architectures who have come up with designs to depict the society has been turned into a selfish, and competing animal. Such arts have been depicting how humanity inhumanity has increased in the modernized industrialized society (Witcombe 2012).
On the other hand, progressive modernized architectures have been playing a role of being antagonist in challenging authorities in the name of fighting for freedom....
