According to President Franklin Delano Roosevelt, the two most essential elements of freedom are security and democracy (Roosevelt, 1941). The president observed that America was facing the most significant security threat ever during that moment. While the US has successfully fought against attempts to lock the country from civilization, the country fought through it and gained its freedom and World War I and II.
