George Hewes narrates an event that happened one day as he was returning home from dinner. He found John Malcom who was about to beat a small boy, a situation which did not please George. For his sympathy with the small boy, George told Malcom not to beat the boy. Malcom turned to George beating him on his ahead, a condition which sent him down the round bleeding. George went to hospital and his wound was dressed. He came back to arrest Malcom but found the people who had witnessed his sufferings were already at the house ...
