Food sovereignty comprises the freedom of individuals or societies to describe their land and agricultural policies. On the flip side, climate justice is solely responsible for addressing the ethical magnitudes of climate change. This paper reflects on the different ways food sovereignty and climate justice are associated with the “Land Back” movement and the identity of the American Indian.
