Cultural History of the car Essay

Essay Instructions:
6 page piece which explores the cultural history of the Car. A cultural history differs from a "traditional" history paper because in a cultural history, you're talking more about the forces which worked on and changed and evolved an object, rather than the object itself. Succinctly, you're looking at the forces of production rather than the product. One of the goals of this paper is to not just have you investigate the historical conditions which lead to the rise of your object, or how your object has changed over the course of time, or some other such perspective, but to practice proper sourcing in a paper. Proper sourcing is not just having the correct citation format, it's also about presenting a source in a way that puts that source's information into dialogue with your own observations and opinions. Proper sourcing supports your assertion, not the other way around. To fulfill this requirement, you are required in this paper to have at least 4 sources from a variety of mediums (internet, database, book, magazine, newspaper, interview, film, etc.).

The outgoing sculpt feature need of the clients has led to development of dynamic new exterior that exhibit real class. Talk of headlamps, has wide grille projectors mounted on the broad front hood; the lamps combine multi-reflector halogen high beams with halogens low beams that use light pipes to represent or create a night time appearance the ideal requirement for the celebrities. The front fog lamps have been integrated in a trapezoidal front bumper that provides a wider illumination. This is really enhanced; for instance, the outer mirrors are glare-resistant integrated with turn signals, the 17” wheels with mirror finish 10 spokes adds elegance to the Avalon Limited model. In addition the rear lights have been redesigned to reduce the turbulence and coefficient drag of the car. Lastly the car has dual exhaust tailpipes a real representation of class in the luxury world. The outlook of the car has met the wishes of patrons. Had it not been the continual desire for class, the Avalon 2011 could not have upgraded to such an extent.
The desire for a spacious interior car is another factor that can not be washed off by any person who is in demand of lavishness. The designers for the Avalon 2011 had all this in mind to meet this critical consumer need.
