According to Garthwaite (2019), the bill is depicted to revise the given Medicare drug payment mode and simultaneously extend various programs. It also entails introducing an increase in Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics, which generally benefits people. Furthermore, the bill temporarily extends the applicability of Medicaid eligibility criteria. As a result, this bill protects an individual from spousal impoverishment, focusing on people who receive home and community-based services.
Another change brought about by this bill is a change in drug payments. New measures are introduced through this bill, and this entails a reduction in the outlay of the new Medicare Part B drugs.
