The transtheoretical framework is an intentional change model centered on an individual’s capacity to make choices without sociological or biological influences. This theory operations on certain assumptions, including change processes and stages, self-efficacy, and rational ability balance (Siddharthan et al., 2020). The premise of this framework is that change happens over time. Five phases of transformation are delineated in this case scenario evaluation. This report offers insights into change reflection by employing the transtheoretical framework to control one’s problematic behavior.
The first phase of the transtheoretical framework is pre-contemplation. At this stage, people portray no actions’ intentions in the future, typically in the next half-year period. People do not know their deeds’ effects on other individuals and the immediate context (Morris et al., 2016). In my case, I never realized the adverse effects of my outbursts on my relationships until I found myself isolated. I never previously thought about my incapacity to sustain relationships.
