INTRODUCTION Joe has decided that one of the primary responsibilities of the Cannabis Business Consortium (CBC) should be to help new business find the information they need to obtain licenses and get established in the field. Recently, he asked you to be part of the business development committee and you gladly accepted. After the committee was established, an article was published in the CBC's quarterly publication advertising the services that are provided. It did not take long until a high profile new startup reached out for help. Joe has set up an online meeting to introduce the founders of the business to the committee members and let you know some of their concerns. A FOLLOW-UP E-MAIL The day after the meeting, you receive the following e-mail: Hello, It was great to meet you yesterday. During the meeting, you mentioned that you would be willing to help explore some of the concerns we have about licensing. If you could not tell in the meeting, we are pretty much lost when it comes to licensing and what it takes to establish a legal business. Joe has graciously given us access to a discussion board that we can use to discuss the licensing issues. Please take some time to check it out and help us get on the right track.
