The main goal of health promotion is to prevent diseases, premature death, and disability through the use of education-driven activities and behavior. Communities have been able to make use of the various health promotion strategies used by nurses to improve their skills, knowledge, and attitude towards the aspects of disease prevention (Dunphy, Winland-Brown, Porter & Thomas, 2015). Therefore, it is necessary to provide people with health education since it will, in turn, reduce the cost spend on medication. If fewer people get sick, the government will not have to spend much money on equipping hospitals (Phillips, 2019). Through the nursing process, patients and community members are able to learn various ways which they can implement in order to prevent the occurrence of diseases. The process involves five steps which offer client-centered care. It is through such care that nurses pass across the necessary health promotion education.
