Target Audience
The target audience for the program are the adults who have children or the guardian of a child. More often than not as a parent or a guarding one is required to move around and carry the baby with them. Being an adult that travels quite often in a vehicle and in the company of child is requirement for the program recommendations.
Importance of the Topic
This is a very sensitive issue as CDC indicates that every other hour, there are almost 150 children between the ages of 0 to 19 years that are brought in to the emergency departments for injuries that have sustained from motor vehicle accidents (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, 2017). It is also important to note that, more children between the ages of 5 and 19 die from motor vehicle-related injuries than from any other type of injuries. Parents play the most vital role in protecting their children from such fatalities (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, 2017).
