A particular situation this week that has greatly affected me is when my sister came in as my patient. I took an FMS on her which are 18 images. Despite being calmed and relaxed when I took her radiographs, I had difficulty in placing the XCP correctly since she has a small mouth and couldn’t open it wider. I chose this particular incident because of the challenges that I had faced in taking her radiographs. This incident taught me how to work effectively without giving in to difficulties and find solutions for the radiographs to come out just right. I adjusted to the situation which led me to take the maximum dose of X-rays.
At that time of the incident, initially, I felt calm and relaxed. However, the pressure built up as I was having some difficulty.
