Recent health care reforms have resulted in enormous benefits to the health care system in the United States. This assignment is aimed at discussing the top five elements of the health care system in which there is an immense need for reforms. Discussion
Restructuring of the Medicaid
The introduction of new programs and innovative methods in health care delivery is found to be beneficial for both the users as well as service providers (Sharma, Fleischut, & Barchi, 2017). However, the existing programs require reforms, such as the Medicaid that requires an urgent reform in the new legislation. The reform in the health care technology must provide the flexibility for innovation with a consideration of increasing turnout and shortage of health care professionals, including specialists and physicians. The novelty can be reformed when the state levels get a chance to have a significant decision-making power.
Eradicating the Individual Mandate
The health care system in the United States has currently presented potential interest in digital communication methods, such as telemedicine. Sharma, Fleischut, and Barchi (2017) stated that the introduction ofindividual-based innovative health care services are increasingly encouraged and have been exclusively implemented in almost all perspectives of the health care system. The diverse health care services include facilities at...
