Existing health disparities have become a center of attention for increasing population health concerns in specific groups. Ahonen et al. (2018) indicate that socioeconomic dynamics influence health access and affordability, disadvantaging some sections of the society while advantaging others. McCartney et al. (2019) support this observation by indicating that nations with reduced income disparities often report improved population health. Such an observation discloses that governments must invest in community empowerment and resource distribution through increased public spending to address health disparities and arrest population health concerns.
Diverse factors interact to complicate population health and health disparities. Magrab and Bronheim (2018) recognize the complexity of this issue and highlight the place for collaborative leadership in different sectors to eradicate populational challenges gradually.
