Some older patients are naturally stubborn, and they direct their anger toward anyone. This has been proven in the given scenario. The patient, Alma, is not an easygoing woman. She is both demanding and non-compliant. However, her reaction might not be intentional. Research has indicated that pain contributes to frustration or anxiety (Alexander, 2019). Therefore, her anger might be health-related. The medical worker must look through Alma's perspective to help her comply with the procedure and post-treatment medication. Comuzzi et al.
