The environmental factors include cultural influences, economic conditions, and personal values, including religious beliefs, social influences, and even media influences. Besides the environmental factors, there may be curiosity and peer pressure. Culture and values influence worldviews since adolescents tend to make decisions that reflect their value system. Environmental contexts such as the availability of fatty foods influence their willingness to consume these foods, and if they are used to such foods, they are more likely to choose them.
