1 Describe three unique features of PubMed database that sets this database apart from other evidence-based search engines.
The following are the features that sets PubMed apart from other evidence-based search engines:
* Advanced PubMed Searching with MeSH – MeSH is the National Library of Medicine’s (NLM’s) controlled vocabulary list that is used by analysts to reflect subject journals as they are published. It allows one to refine the searches with various subheadings and choose specific MeSH terms that will be focused on.
* Clinical Queries that makes one search for clinical problems in a fast manner.
* Automatic email updates of search strategy – This feature allows one t save the searches for later time (Chapman, 2009).
