Learning Methodology
UDL is a popular method of teaching that incorporates all students as it presents materials in various formats for engagement of students especially those with a particular need. For instance, some students need writing projects. Besides, others need play or movies (Rose et al., 2018). Thus, the UDL incorporates basic concepts that ensure that students learn in a way that best suit their personality and style among others. Besides, the present strategy will emphasize on inclusivity, and development of a culture of acceptance in the classroom where all students will learn leadership strategy within the community through numerous means (Rose et al., 2018).
The UDL learning methodology follows the Bloom Taxonomy theory that will enable the student to describe and explain concepts in strategic leadership to ensure that they can provide relevant answers that would reflect on the leadership skills. Thus, the type of learning will include kinesthetic, auditory and visual. Henceforth, I will give the learners images to stimulate their thinking and recall their information. Besides, I will provide handouts for the students to write on (Clark, 2017).
On a separate note, the methodology will focus on constructivism where the students will build the knowledge of existing information on leadership. Lastly, I will borrow ideas from the behaviorism theory and implement a positive reinforcement during the four-hour session using praise and rewards for good behavior as a result of favorable condition for immediate feedback (Clark, 2017).
