I prefer to have this answered in tandem with my first question as a pair funding issue 1 For this module's SLP you are asked to further discuss the extent and the impact of this problem( Lack of funding in health care administration). How often is it encountered? What are its negative consequences? Who is affected by the problem? What could be its implications for the mission and vision of the healthcare organization where the problem occurs? ASSIGNMENT EXPECTATIONS The objective of the capstone is to conduct research on a relevant issue in health care management, to identify the issues and implications, and to develop a plan to address this issue. Please draw from your exposure to the various issues discussed in the previous courses and from your professional experience. The capstone will give you the opportunity to apply information and skills gained from previous courses (and work experience) and to develop a plan to address a "real world" healthcare issue. You will be expected to provide a scholarly basis for your response. Your opinions should be justified with evidence from the literature. References should be cited properly in the text of your essay, as well as at the end. Several scholarly references should be cited for this assignment. Please limit your response to 3 pages maximum. Length: This assignment should be between 1-2 pages (250-500 words) in length, excluding references. References: At least two references should be included from academic sources (e.g. peer-reviewed journal articles). Organization: Subheadings should be used to organize your paper Format: APA format is recommended. While APA formatting of references is not a requirement, the references need to be presented in order using a standard citation style (APA, AMA, MLA etc). When material is copied verbatim from external sources, it MUST be enclosed in quotes. The references should be cited within the text and also listed at the end of the assignment in the References section. See Syllabus page for more information on APA format. Accordingly, this must be accomplished substantially in your own words. • Use directly quoted material sparingly and only when preserving the exact words of an author is necessary. For purposes of this course, rarely should directly quoted material represent more than 5-10 percent of your entire case paper’s content. Composing a paper patched together from mostly quoted material is not acceptable. • Be sure to properly reference all directly quoted material and include the in-text citations. All paraphrased information also requires reference citations at the end of the paraphrased section. Grades • A paper that answers all assignments questions and supports the same with good key points, well supported discussions and quality references will earn a solid “B” grade. • Please remember that “A” papers are exceptional works that go beyond just answering the questions and provide insightful answers.
