Key Reasons for Entering Nursing
In this part of the course, you have learned about scholarly writing and how to write a paper. For this assignment, you are expected to demonstrate your scholarly writing ability as you reflect on and analyze your own key reasons for entering nursing.
Consider the following questions to help inform your writing.
Why did you enter the nursing program? Why do you want to become a nurse? How does your reasons relate to the nursing profession? How does the literature support these reasons? Although you will be reflecting on your reasons, you should also analyze these key reasons. For example, when you identify one or two reasons, ask yourself why these reasons? Why are these reasons important to you?

● 2-4 topic sentences (summarizing main idea) for each of the 2-4 body paragraphs

Nursing is one of the noblest professions that one can wish to adopt as it offers an opportunity to serve the afflicted humanity. Being a compassionate person by nature, I have always wanted to help people, and nursing is the profession that provides me job satisfaction by allowing me to alleviate people's suffering. Nursing standards and practices are based on the strictest adherence to the principles of ethics and morality; therefore, nursing helps me respect and follow the principles of ethics and morality. With the increasing demand for professional nurses worldwide, I decided to adopt this profession as it ensures greater job security, financial security, and moral and psychological benefits.
