Interprofessional Team: Ideal Provider Mix

Thus, I believe that an ideal provider mix of an interprofessional team should be of such a size and include diverse combinations of a leader (clinical decision-maker), general and specialized nurses, nutritionists, specialized physicians, pharmacists, therapists (both occupational and physical), behavioral health providers. Also, non-clinical supports, such as social workers, case managers, and clerical associates, are an excellent addition to the team (Wohler & Liaw, 2016).
