Select a high-income country that you consider comparable to the United States in terms of economic status.

Discuss the country you selected and why it is comparable to the United States (Example: United Kingdom).
Select a vulnerable population in that country (Example: children). Why did you select that population? What resources are available to them?
What resources are available to this population in the United States?
Compare and analysze the resources in both countries.
Your paper should be 2–3 pages in length, excluding the title and reference page.

Comparison between the UK and US Resources
The present study is about the comparison of US resources with any developed country. With the passage of time, a significant change is generated in developed countries because of the enhanced number of mixed culture people. It is observed that children of mixed ethnicity are more susceptible to undergo behavioral, emotional, and psychological changes. In the current study, the UK is selected to compare its resources with the US particular population.
Vulnerable Population-Children
The population of children is selected for the study. Various studies revealed that the US has higher income-related breaches in the early cognitive development of children as compared to other developed countries such as the UK. The focus of the present study is to discuss children's health issues, i.e. cognitive development and resources to deal with issues in the UK and the US.
Reason to Select the Children Population
The main reason to select the children population is that children lack the independence and decision making capability. It makes them unable to give ethical and legal agreements to contribute to research or understand the risks in society. The disparity of power between adults and children is one of the main reasons that make children vulnerable. A huge population of children all over the world is facing inadequate care and protection (Bradbury, Waldfogel & Washbrook, 2019). It is necessary to discuss available resources for children in developed countries.

As per recent research, the first aid practices for children are equally available in the US and UK.
