The family medical history of the 18-year-old is alarming because the mother has a Lupus, which is chronic and hereditary. The mother also has Diabetes Mellitus, which is genetic, and the father suffers from liver disease. Certain things might cause problems in the future for the patient. She only received two vaccines for HPV, as opposed to three. The patient has also admitted to using marijuana, which is a health hazard, and the use of marijuana reduces the effectiveness of some methods of birth control.
