The link between Health and Behavior
There is a significant association between health and behavior (Short & Mollborn 2015). Foremost, behavior determines an individual's emotional and physical well-being. For instance, an individual addicted to drugs may have negative psychological effects, affecting their healthy eating habits. Besides, poor nutrition and lack of exercise may deteriorate a person's well-being, making them susceptible to mental disorders such as anxiety, depression, and fatigue. Therefore, there is a significant relationship between health and behavior.
The Role of Public Health?
Public health evaluates a pandemic's economic and social effect on communities and individuals (Short & Mollborn 2015). Besides, public health workers restore, promote, improve and protect people's health by ensuring collective responsibilities.
